Besmed Volume Incentive Spirometer helps patients perform and monitor their breathing exercises. The patients are encouraged to breathe in through the device as slowly and deeply as possible. The volume incentive spirometer provides visual guidance of the volume achieved during inspiration whilst encouraging the patience to maintain an appropriate inspiratory flow rate, by ensuring the yellow ball is kept within the smiley face section of the device.
